zippo hand warmers allowed on flights?

can we carry a fueled zippo hand warmer with us on carry on? Lighters are allowed, so i was wondering it if was the same for hand warmers.

Hello,
Lighters are not allowed onboard aircraft anymore, effective as of last summer. Anything involving fuel is restricted, including zippo hand warmers. You may want to try Grabber-MyCoal Hand Warmers, which are air activated. I can’t guarantee that they’ll be allowed, but they don’t have any restricted substances inside of them.
